American League Rays, Jays to face stiff pitching in finale

Tonight American League predictions, written by Olivier:
*number 1 indicates road team win, number two home team win with respective pecentage to win the match.

Orioles (Bergesen) @ Yankees (Hughes) 2 70%
With New York's 3-1 win over Baltimore on Tuesday in the opener of the three-game series, the Yankees have won three in a row, while the Orioles have
lost six straight. Hughes has been impressive this season, with a 6-1 record and a 2.70 ERA. Yankees should win their 4th in a row.

Indians (Carmona) @ Tigers (Gallaraga) 1 55%
Gallaraga struggled in his last start on May 22, when the Dodgers roughed him up for five runs over 4 2/3 innings in Los Angeles. Lifetime against Cleveland he has a 3-3 record with a 5.51 ERA. Carmona has been solid this season, with a 4-3 record and 3.69 ERA over his first 10 starts, and has gone at least six innings in all but one of his outings. In his career he is 6-3 with a 3.56 ERA against the Tigers.

Rays (Price) @ Blue Jays (Marcum) 1 55%
Price and Marcum have been nothing short of dominant against their Wednesday opponent in their careers. While Price owns a 3-0 record to go with a 2.92 ERA against the Jays in his short career, Marcum is 2-0 lifetime with a minuscule 0.75 ERA over 24 innings against the Rays. Last night tough loss for Toronto will be hard to forget for the canadian team and Tampa will take advantage of this.

Athletics (Sheets) @ Red Sox (Matsuzaka) 1 55%
Both starters are having roller-coaster year so predicting the result when these two hurlers go is a difficult task. Sheets started the season fighting through nearly every inning, but he's turned in five consecutive quality starts. I think Oakland has good chances of tying the series at one.

Angels (Kazmir) @ Royals (Davies) 2 55%
Inconsistency is a common thread with both teams and it's certainly well represented by Wednesday's starters. Royals right-hander Kyle Davies and Angels left-hander Scott Kazmir have both had their share of struggles. Royals middle of the order predominantly right handed will hurt Angels southpaw and give the Royals the series win.

Rangers (Feldman) @ Whitesox (Garcia) 2 60%
Scott Feldman of the visiting Rangers makes this Windy City appearance on the heels of a tough slump. Feldman lost, 5-2, to the Royals on Wednesday and is 1-3 with a 6.97 ERA in his past five starts. He's also 0-4 with a 7.71 ERA in four starts on the road. In his most recent start, Garcia was dominant, rebounding from a disappointing loss to Florida to silence Tampa Bay, the team with the best record in the game. Chicago will tie the series at 1.

Twins (Slowey) @ Mariners (Cl. Lee) 2 65%
Cliff Lee is 8-3 with a 3.57 ERA lifetime against Minnesota as he used to face them while wearing the Indians jersey. Kevin Slowey is having a decent season so far, but in his career he is 1-1 with a 7.59 ERA against the Mariners. Lee is coming off a season-high-tying eight-inning effort against the Angels in Anaheim on May 28, in which he gave up two runs. He's gonna lead Seattle to the victory.
