New York's strong pitching run. Niese, though, has posted a 5.63 ERA in losing each of his two starts against the Marlins. Nate Robertson beat the Mets in his first start of the year, surrendering one run in five innings as the Marlins won 3-1 on April 8. Robertson is 2-0 with a 2.45 ERA in three outings against New York.

Brewers (Narveson) @ Cardinals (Ottavino) 2 60%
Narveson has a 2.25 ERA in seven relief appearances versus the Cardinals, but will make his first start against them in this contest. Narveson is 3-3 with a 5.45 ERA since entering the rotation. After snapping a four-game home skid to the Brewers, the surging Cardinals look for a third straight victory. Ottavino, 0-1 with 6.35 ERA, will try to earn his first win of the season.

Cubs (Dempster) @ Astros (Oswalt) 2 55%
Houston hasn't struggled of late, winning four in a row after a 3-1 victory Friday while handing Chicago. Oswalt is 13-12 with a 3.72 ERA in 30 starts against the Cubs, including 2-0 with a 1.15 ERA in his last three. Dempster looks to bounce back from his worst outing of the season. The right-hander is 4-9 with a 4.74 ERA in 19 starts versus Houston, including a 3.16 ERA with no decisions in the last four.

Reds (Leake) @ Nationals (Atilano) 1 60%
Leake (4-0, 2.45 ERA) hopes that the brief slump ends after getting no runs of support in his past two outings. The 22-year-old right-hander last time out worked six innings to post his seventh consecutive quality start. He has a 1.79 ERA in that stretch. Atilano (5-1, 4.70) will be looking to win his third straight start. While Atilano has struggled at home, going 1-1 with a 7.47 ERA, the Nationals have won three straight and six of eight in the nation's capital.

Padres (Garland) @ Phillies (Moyer) 1 55%
Garland is 6-0 with a 1.58 ERA in his last nine outings. The right-hander, though, is 0-3 with an 8.02 ERA in four starts against the Phillies, going 0-2 with a 6.35 ERA in two last year with Arizona. Phillies starter Jamie Moyer will try to avoid losing four straight starts for the first time since May 7-25, 2009. Moyer hasn't pitched too badly during this skid, posting a 3.50 ERA. Moyer is 0-2 with a 9.00 ERA in two starts against the Padres at Citizens Bank Park.

Giants (Wellemayer) @ Pirates (Maholm) 2 55%
Pittsburgh will try to rebound against San Francisco starter Todd Wellemeyer who has posted a 2.84 ERA over his last two starts. The right-hander is 3-1 with a 2.97 ERA in San Francisco, but 0-3 with a 9.35 ERA in four road starts. Wellemeyer is 4-2 with a 4.53 ERA in nine career starts against the Pirates, but 0-1 with a 6.35 ERA in four at PNC Park. Maholm is 1-1 with a 3.13 ERA in seven career starts against the Giants, who are hitting .353 (18 for 51) against left-handers over their last four games.

Rockies (Chacin) @ Diamondbacks (Willis) 2 55%
Willis makes his Diamondbacks debut Saturday night against the Colorado Rockies at Chase Field. He was 1-2 with a 4.98 ERA in eight starts and one relief appearance with the Tigers. The Diamondbacks have an 8.58 ERA in losing four of seven to Colorado. Rockies rookie Jhoulys Chacin takes the mound with a 1-3 record and a 6.14 ERA in his last four outings, but the win came over Arizona on May 25.

Braves (Hanson) @ Dodgers (Billingsley) 2 60%
While Billingsley will attempt to earn his fifth straight win, Hanson will try to prevail in his third consecutive start. Billingsley had won four consecutive starts with a 1.80 ERA entering Monday's outing against Arizona. After dropping his first two career starts against the Braves in 2008, Billingsley was 1-0 with a 0.82 ERA in two matchups last season. During his 11-4 rookie campaign, Hanson took a 5-0 loss in his only start against the Dodgers on July 31 at home.
